Mango Phirni

Ingredients to make Mango Phirni

  • Milk 3 1/2 cups
  • 3/4 cup Condensed milk (adjust acc. to taste)
  • 1/2 cup Mango puree (preferably Alphonso)
  • 3tbsp Raw Rice
  • 8-10 Raisins
  • 8-10 Almonds
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder

How to make Mango Phirni

  1. Soak the rice for 30 mins. Drain and grind the rice into semi coarse paste.
  2. Boil the milk and add rice to it.
  3. Lower the heat and stir well until the milk thicken and becomes like a porridge.
  4. Add the condensed milk and cardamom powder. Blend well.
  5. Remove from heat. Refrigerate for one hour.
  6. Add the mango puree, half of the almonds and almods. Blend well
  7. Garnish with remaining almonds and raisins and serve.
