Egg Dosa

Ingredients to make Egg Dosa

  • All purpose idly/dosa batter - 1 cup
  • egg - 2 nos
  • ghee/ oil - 2 tablespoons
  • salt - as per taste

How to make Egg Dosa

  1. Take a all purpose dosa batter and mix well. If needed, add some water to get the easy flow consistency.
  2. Heat tawa on medium flame for a few minutes. Sprinkle some water and wipe it out to get a clear tawa base.
  3. Spread the dosa evenly on tawa.
  4. Break the egg and spread on top of the dosa. Sprinkle some salt and pepper powder (optional) on top of the egg.
  5. Once the dosa turns light brown using a spatula turn the dosa other side and cook till its crisp.
  6. Egg dosa can be served with all kinds of chutneys and kormas.

My Tip:

You can sprinkle finely chopped onions and idly chilli powder (bombay gun powder) for additional taste.
