Butter Garlic Prawns.

Ingredients to make Butter Garlic Prawns.

  • 10-12 small Prawns: de-shelled and de-veined.
  • butter - 1 tablespoon.
  • Finely chopped garlic.
  • Salt and black pepper.
  • Half a lemon juice.
  • coriander for garnishing.

How to make Butter Garlic Prawns.

  1. Take a flat non-stick pan and heat it on medium.
  2. Add butter and let it melt.
  3. As the butter melts, add the garlic and saute it for about 30 seconds. Don't cook too much.
  4. Add the prawns and cook them for about 4-5 minutes without stirring or turning over.
  5. Now add salt and pepper and mix them well and cook the prawns from the other side as well.
  6. Now add lemon juice, stir well and cook for 5 more minutes.
  7. That's it, it is done. Pour over the juices left in the pan over prawns.
  8. Drizzle some more lemon juice after plating and garnish with freshly chopped coriander. Have it with chilled beer, you would be in gastronomic heaven!

My Tip:

Marinade the prawns in salt and lemon juice 10-15 minutes before cooking. It will make them more juicy and cook faster.
