Ingredients to make Mung Rasbhari

  • 1/2 cup whole green Mung
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp green cardamom powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp rose water
  • oil to fry

How to make Mung Rasbhari

  1. Soak Green Mung for 4 hour .Drain water and make a smooth paste of it.You need a thick batter ,so use very less water in it.
  2. Add baking soda to it and let it sit for 2 hour.Add cardamom powder to it.
  3. Heat oil and drop small ball size batter into the oil. Fry at medium flame and take it out when they are light brown.
  4. In the mean time start preparing sugar syrup .Boil sugar and water .you need a thin consistency of sugar syrup.
  5. Cool a bit ,when it's warm add rose water to it.Mix once.Add the hot fried mung balls into this.
  6. Serve after an hour .
