Ingredients to make MISHTI ALOOR MALPUA

  • maida - 1 cup
  • semolina - 1 cup
  • Sweet potato boiled - 200 gm
  • sugar- 1 cup
  • salt a pinch
  • Mouri ( fennel seeds ) - 1teaspoon
  • Milk- 1 cup
  • Grated coconut - 1 cup
  • Khoya Kheer ( mawa grated) - 1/2 cup
  • White oil to deep fry

How to make MISHTI ALOOR MALPUA

  1. Peeled the potatoes and mashed them very well .
  2. Mix all the dry ingredients (Maida , suji , khoya Kheer, salt, mouri) together in a bowl.
  3. Now add the mashed potatoes, Grated coconut and milk to make a smooth batter not to thick and so thin like pancakes batter.
  4. Keep the mixture into the room temperature for about 15 minutes. Then take a flat non stick pan and heat oil and pour one big spoon at a time and fry both sides till golden brown .
  5. Make sugar syrup and now soak each malpua into the sugar syrup at a time for 2 - 3 minutes and take it out from the syrup and place on a plate .
  6. Serve warm or cold.
