Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Besan 3 cups
  2. Sooji 1 cup
  3. Oil 1 cup
  4. Milk powder 5 tbsp, heaped
  5. Elaichi powder, 1 tsp
  6. Few sliced pistas and badams
  7. Fine Sooji 1 cup
  8. Syrup Ingredients:
  9. 1 cup sugar
  10. 1 and 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Heat ghee and oil slightly in a kadai.
  2. Add besan and stir for 5 minutes.
  3. Then add sooji and keep stirring till the besan turns brown in colour.
  4. Remove it from flame and allow it to cool a little.
  5. Add milk powder and elaichi powder. Mix and allow it to cool for 30 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile, take a vessel and put in sugar and water.
  7. Mix and boil it till the sugar melts completely. Allow it to cool for 30 minutes.
  8. After this time, mix both the mixtures together.
  9. Grease a thali and pour the mixture.
  10. Garnish it with sliced pistas and badams.
  11. Cut into desired shape and sizes and serve.
