Ingredients to make Burnt Corn Salad

  • Sweet corn on cob 1
  • cucumbers chopped 2
  • onion chopped 1
  • cabbage chopped 1 cup
  • tomato chopped 1
  • Green chilli chopped 1
  • salt to taste
  • lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper (optional)

How to make Burnt Corn Salad

  1. Take a sweet corn and char it on medium flame till dark spots appear all over.
  2. Now keep the corn in a standing position. Slice this cob with a knife and place the corn kernels in a bowl.
  3. Mix this corn with the rest of the ingredients. Then let it refrigerate for some time.
  4. Serve this dish cold for best taste.

My Tip:

Add salt and lemon juice while serving the salad, otherwise the salad will become soggy.
