Honey Chilli Potatoes

Ingredients to make Honey Chilli Potatoes

  • For the Sauce -
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1tsp red chilli sauce
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp seasame seeds(plus more for garnisihing)
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp pepper powder
  • For preparing potato:
  • 4 potatos cut into wedges
  • 2 Tbsp cornflour
  • 1 tsp chilli Powder
  • salt as per taste
  • oil for frying
  • For assembling -
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 small green capsicum lenghtwise
  • 1 spring onion sliced(reserve green & top part for garnishing)
  • Fresh coriander for garnishing

How to make Honey Chilli Potatoes

  1. Mix all the ingredients given under sauce and keep aside.
  2. Mix potato, cornflour, salt and red chilling. Keep aside.
  3. Heat oil for frying.
  4. Now drop the potato's. Make sure not to over crowd the pan.
  5. Take out potato once cooked and crispy.
  6. Now heat oil in a nonstick pan.
  7. Saute ginger garlic and spring onions. Add capsicum as well.
  8. Now add the sauce and potatoes
  9. Mix gently until all the potatoes are coated.
  10. Transfer to a serving plate.
  11. Garnish with sesame seeds, onion greens and fresh coriander.
  12. Enjoy!!

My Tip:

1- Cut potato in thick wedges. 2-While adding cornflour to potatoes make sure there is no moisture in potatoes.
