ABOUT Chutney Aloo RECIPE

Chutney Aloo can be had as a chat or as a proper vegetable in your dinner, breakfast or lunch,as peryour choice. The crispiness of fried aloo and the flavour of coriander is really different.So you can try this recipe for your kids as an evening snack option or keep in their tiffin also.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Baby potatoes - 10 to 11
  2. Onion - 1 medium sized(thinly Sliced
  3. Coriander leaves - half cup
  4. Green chilies - 2 to 3 (optional)
  5. Oil for frying
  6. salt as per taste
  7. Red Chili powder - 1 tsp
  8. Coriander powder - 2 tsp
  9. Mango powder - 2 tsp
  10. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Firstly par boil the potatoes and peel off its skin.
  2. Take coriander leaves and chilies and grind them in a mixer.
  3. Now Take a wok add oil around 3 tbsp and let it heat.
  4. Add sliced onions and fry them till they turn little brown in color.
  5. Now add the boiled potatoes in it and fry them till they start changing its color.
  6. When the potatoes are done add the coriander and chili paste in the fried aloo.
  7. Add salt,chili powder,coriander powder,dry mango powder and turmeric powder and mix it well.
  8. Your chutney Aloo are ready ( for more tangy flavor you can lime juice also)
