Coconut Peanut Chutney

Ingredients to make Coconut Peanut Chutney

  • Grated coconut 1cup
  • Roasted peanuts 1/2cup
  • garlic 3-4
  • green chillies 2
  • tamarind pulp 3tbsp
  • oil
  • Dry red chilli 2
  • mustard seeds 1tsp
  • cumin seeds 1tsp
  • curry leaves 5-6
  • Satl to taste
  • water as required

How to make Coconut Peanut Chutney

  1. Grind peanuts
  2. Add grated coconut, green chillies, salt, garlic, tamarind pulp to ground peanuts. Grind it
  3. If required, add required water and grind to make a fine paste
  4. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, dry red chillies and curry leaves. Let it crackle. Add this to the paste

My Tip:

Fry Garlic and green chillies before grinding. It add little extra taste to the dish
