This was my mother's sure shot guide to get me eating. It always got me exciting.Now this simple recipe gets my family happy. Don't worry it's not a slimy rice mix.

Ingredients Serving: 2

12 long okra sliced
Half a white onion sliced
butter one tbsp
cumin seeds one tsp
salt to taste
Cooked rice one and half cups

Instructions

Wash dry and chop the okra/ ladies finger into rounds.
Slice the onions thin.
To a pan add butter and as it melts add the onions and cumin.
Once the onions soften add the okra. Let it roast well.
Sprinkle Salt
When the vegetables look cooked and roasted well, add in the cooked fluffed rice
Mix well and stirfry till it releases a beautiful aroma
Serve hot with assorted condiments
