  • oil for shallow frying
  • ingredients for marination -
  • ginger garlic paste 1tbsp
  • pepper Powder 1tsp
  • chilli powder 1 tbsp
  • cumin powder 1tbsp
  • coriander powder 1tbsp
  • salt
  • turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Finely chopped coriander leaves
  • Finely chopped curry leaves
  • oil 4tsp
  • Rice flour 1tbsp
  • Dry rub powder -
  • sooji 1/2 cup
  • Rice flour 4 tbsp
  • chilli powder 1tsp
  • salt

How to make Pan Fish Fry(Tawa fish fry)

  1. Clean the fish steaks and dry them thoroughly on a paper towel. Set aside.
  2. Take bowl add all above mentioned marination ingredients and mix well.Apply the paste on both sides of the fish. Set it aside for 30 minutes for marination.
  3. In the mean time take plate and add all above mentioned dry rub powder ingredients mix well and check the seasoning.
  4. Take the marinated fish and dust it in the dry rub powder to evenly coat.
  5. Heat oil in a pan until very hot. Shallow fry the fish until it cook on each side in hot oil.Drain the fried fish on a paper towel and serve hot.
