Ingredients to make Orange Hazelnut Chocolate cake

  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/4 Cup dark cocoa powder
  • 3 Large eggs
  • 175g castor sugar
  • 1/2 hazelnuts
  • 3/4 cup neutral oil
  • 3/4 cup orange juice, plus zest of 1 orange
  • For Orange-chocolate ganache:
  • 35ml orange juice
  • 150g dark chocolate

How to make Orange Hazelnut Chocolate cake

  1. Heat oven to 180 degrees C. Lightly grease a loaf tin and line with a strip of parchment paper.
  2. Grind the hazelnuts in a food processor until they resemble coarse breadcrumbs (do not blitz them too much or they will become oily), then add to a bowl along with the orange zest, a pinch of salt and the rest of the dry ingredients. Mix to
