Ingredients to make Green Peas And Keema Masala

  • Green peas - 500 gms
  • onions (finely chopped) - 3
  • tomatoes (finely chopped) - 1 and 1/2
  • Chopped coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
  • chilli powder - 1 tbsp
  • cumin powder - 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
  • Mutton keema - 250 gms
  • oil - 4 tbsp
  • ginger paste - 1/2 tsp
  • garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
  • salt to taste

How to make Green Peas And Keema Masala

  1. Take a pressure cooker, keep it on the stove and heat it.
  2. Now add oil to it and add chopped onions.
  3. Add ginger and garlic paste when the onions are golden brown in color and saute well.
  4. When the raw smell disappears add tomatoes, chili powder, cumin powder and garam masala.
  5. Now add keema and coriander leaves and mix well.
  6. Close the lid of the cooker and cook for two whistles.
  7. Open the cooker, add green peas to it and mix well. Add salt and close the lid and cook for one more whistle.
  8. Let it rest for 5 minutes. Now open the lid and cook till the water is reduced.
  9. Take it on a plate and serve with roti or chapati.

My Tip:

You can even add potatoes to give it a different taste.
