ABOUT Masala Prawns RECIPE

My first attempt in cooking prawns.I wish to extend my gratitude and love to my elder sister Mrs.Lakshmi Girish for her time and patience in explaining this whole stuff .

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Prawns - 100g
  2. Onion - 2 medium sized
  3. Tomato - 2 medium sized
  4. Ginger - one inch piece
  5. Garlic - 5/6 pods
  6. Curry leaves - 1 sprig
  7. Green chilly - 2
  8. Chilli powder - 1tsp
  9. Eastern meat masala - 1tsp
  10. Oil - 1tbsp
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Cilantro/coriander leaves for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Clean and remove the vein of the prawns.
  2. Heat half the oil in a kadai,add ginger garlic and saute.Now add finely chopped onions and saute till they turn translucent.
  3. Now add tomatoes and prawns.Cook till prawns is done.
  4. Make a hole in the centre and pour in the remaining oil and spice powders. Now mix everything.
  5. Saute for few more minutes till everything gets mixed up nicely. Do a taste test and adjust the salt.
  6. Garnish with coriander leaves and Enjoy
