Ingredients to make Matariya Aloo Tikiya

  • 4-5 boiled mashed potatoes
  • 1/2 cup Bread crumbs
  • salt to taste
  • For stuffing - 1 cup boiled peas
  • 1 tsp each red chilli powder, turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp amchur powder, pinch of garam masala
  • oil for shallow frying

How to make Matariya Aloo Tikiya

  1. First mix salt & bread crumbs with the mashed potatoes.
  2. Prepare a soft dough out of it.
  3. Now take oil in pan, put the boiled peas with the spices.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Prepare small balls from the potato dough.
  6. Fill in the filling and prepare tikki.
  7. Shallow fry them in the griddle.
