Moong Bean Pancake

Ingredients to make Moong Bean Pancake

  • 1 and 1/2 cup moong dal (8 hours soaked)
  • 1 cup rice (8 hours soaked)
  • 1/2 cup sprouts
  • 1/4 cup chopped spring onion
  • 1/4 cup zucchini chopped
  • 1/4 cup mix bell pepper chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped sweet corn
  • 1/4 cup soya nuggets soaked and ground
  • 1 medium size onion chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves chopped
  • 1 green chilli chopped
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper fresh crushed
  • 1/2 tsp crushed fennel seeds
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 egg
  • salt to taste
  • oil for cooking
  • 1/2 cup cheese

How to make Moong Bean Pancake

  1. Take already soaked moong dal and rice in mixer jar and grind it like dosa batter.
  2. Transfer this batter in large bowl. In this batter add egg and milk.
  3. Now add one by one all ingredients and mix, finally add salt, pepper and crushed fennel and mix it.
  4. Heat non stick pan, add few drops oil and spread batter and keep flame low to medium. When one side is cooked, flip it and cook the other side.
  5. Now make all pancakes like this and serve hot with sweet curd and ketchup for more taste.

My Tip:

Use milk to loosen the batter.
