INSTANT MASALA FRENCH FRIES

Ingredients to make INSTANT MASALA FRENCH FRIES

  • 5 large potatoes
  • 2 tbsp Refined flour (Maida)
  • 1 tbsp cornflour
  • ½ tbsp ginger Garlic paste (Optional)
  • 1 tsp roasted jeera powder
  • salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • ½ tsp Chaat masala
  • oil for Deep frying

How to make INSTANT MASALA FRENCH FRIES

  1. Peel the potatoes and keep them soaked in water. Cut them into one centimeter thick slices and further cut into finger sized pieces.
  2. Drain off excess water from the potatoes and add Maida, Corn Flour, Ginger Garlic paste, roasted jeera powder, black pepper to taste and mix well.
  3. Heat oil in a heavy bottomed kadhai on a medium flame and deep fry until it gets golden brown and take out on a tissue paper.
  4. Sprinkle some salt & chaat masala and serve hot with tomato ketchup.
