Spring onion stuffed parantha

Ingredients to make Spring onion stuffed parantha

  • Whole wheat flour 2 cups
  • Finely chopped spring onion 1/2 cup (the green portion)
  • onion bulbs 5-6
  • Carrom seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  • salt 1 teaspoon
  • green chilly chopped 1 teaspoon
  • oil for roasting

How to make Spring onion stuffed parantha

  1. To the wheat flour add chopped green portion of the spring onion, carrom seeds, salt and knead a soft dough.
  2. Keep the dough covered for half an hour.
  3. Take medium size ball, stuff it with the onion and green chilly and roll it by dusting flour.
  4. Roast it from both sides on tawa with some oil.
  5. Serve hot with butter or pickle.

My Tip:

Don't add too much water while kneading the dough, the onion gives out water.
