Pan Fried Pomfret

Ingredients to make Pan Fried Pomfret

  • White Pomfret -2
  • ginger paste-1tablespoon
  • garlic Paste-2 tanlespoon
  • Carom seeds (ajwain)-1/4 teaspoon
  • lemon juice-1 full lemon
  • salt to taste
  • oil-4tablespoons+1teaspoon
  • Garam nasal a powder-1 teaspoon
  • Tandoori masala powder-2 teaspoon (optional)
  • coriander powder-1teaspoon
  • Dry mango powder -1/2teaspoon
  • Corn flour-2tablespoons
  • Cherry tomatoes -6 pieces (optional )
  • onion-1big (cut into cubes)

How to make Pan Fried Pomfret

  1. Clean the fish and make incisions with sharp knife
  2. Take a bowl,combine red chili powder,sat, 1 teaspoon oil,lemon juice,coriander powder,tandoori powder,ginger paste, garlic paste.mix well
  3. Coat fishes thoroughly both sides
  4. Cover the fishes and leave it for marinate for 2 hours
  5. Place flat tawa or pan and heat up oil in medium flame.
  6. Heat up 4tablespoons oil on medium heat.Place the marinated fish on hot tawa,fry the pomfret until one side is golden. Flip over and fry the other siden
  7. When both side are golden,remove from heatm
  8. Fry the cherry tomato and onions
  9. Serve with cherry tomato and onions
