Cheesy Potato Tokri

Ingredients to make Cheesy Potato Tokri

  • One or 2 large potatoes
  • 2 cheese cubes ( used amul)
  • 1 cup paneer/cottage cheese
  • 2 cups oil to deep fry
  • 1Tblspoon Tango sweet and sour sauce
  • salt to taste
  • pepper
  • 1/2 tspn Chaat masala
  • Fresh twigs of corriander
  • Sum tomato pieces

How to make Cheesy Potato Tokri

  1. Take a big size Potato for two small tokris/basket
  2. Peel ,Grate wash the potato and add sum salt .Now squeeze out all water oozed out and place in a wired mesh/strainer
  3. Make fresh paneer crumble at home or use bought paneer crumble it ,keep in fridge
  4. Grate 2 cubes of Amul cheese and keep in fridge
  5. Now heat oil in deep pot or fryer and fry the potato in the mesh, setting well press the grated potato,
  6. As it turns golden inside out
  7. Remove in a glass bowl slowly after the tokri cools
  8. Now add the paneer crumble and sprinkle salt pepper and chaat masala
  9. Garnish with Grated cheese and Tango sauce fresh corriander to dress it add a little piece of tomato
  10. We enjoyed the crunch of the potato tokri and gudness of the juicy cheese and paneer
