Khaman dhokla

Ingredients to make Khaman dhokla

  • besan 1 cup
  • Suji 1/4 cup
  • Eno fruit salt 1 tablespoon
  • salt 1/4 tablespoon
  • sugar 2 tablespoon
  • lemons 2
  • oil 1 tablespoon
  • Rai 1 tablespoon
  • green chillies 7-8
  • water 2 cups

How to make Khaman dhokla

  1. Take a bowl and add besan and suji into it. Now by mixing it 1/4 cup of water into it make a batter (not too thin/thick).
  2. Now add 1 tsp sugar, salt, 1 lemon and mix it well. Now give it a rest time for 20 mins. After 20 minutes add Eno and mix it, you can see the mixture will get fluffy.
  3. Now take a microwave container and greese it with oil and put the dhokla batter into it and bake it for 4 min at 250° degrees.
  4. Dhokla is ready.
  5. Tadka- Take a pan add oil into it and now add raii into it after 1 minute add green chilli into it. Now add remaining water into it and add 1 tspn sugar and squeeze one lemon into it and mix it. Your tadka water is ready
  6. Take a plate and put dhokla and put the tadka water into the dhokla and enjoy it with chillis.

My Tip:

Adding lemon will give a flavour.
