Rajma/ Red kidney beans Pulao/ Pilaf/ Pulav

Ingredients to make Rajma/ Red kidney beans Pulao/ Pilaf/ Pulav

  • Cooked rice - 1 cup (soaked cooked & cooled)
  • Cooked rajma - 1/2 cup (overnight soaked & pressure cooked)
  • Chopped onion - 2 tbsp
  • Green chilly - 2
  • Red chili powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger - Garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  • Salt as per taste
  • Oil for sauteing
  • Coriander leaves to garnish

How to make Rajma/ Red kidney beans Pulao/ Pilaf/ Pulav

  1. Heat oil in a kadai, add cumin seeds.
  2. Add chopped green chilies, onion, ginger-garlic paste and saute.
  3. Add the cooked rajma now and stir.
  4. Add salt, mix and let it cook for few a minutes.
  5. Put garam masala powder, red chili powder and stir.
  6. Add cooked and cooled rice now and mix gently.
  7. Cover and cook for a few minutes.
