Ingredients to make Hazelnut Caramel Macchiato
- Instant coffee - 2 tsps (add half a tsp more in case you like your coffee strong)
- - 2 tsp
- Milk - 2 cups (Half a cup more if you want extra froth)
- Caramel syrup - 2 tsp
- Hazelnut powder - 1 tsp
How to make Hazelnut Caramel Macchiato
My Tip:For caramel syrup take 2-3 tbsps of sugar in a heavy bottomed pan and keep it on a low flame. Let the sugar caramelise. Don't stir it. Once the sugar starts changing colour and the granules have melted add half a cup of water. Take it off the flame and stir till all the caramel dissolves giving you a dark caramel syrup. Store in an airtight bottle. Can be used to flavour coffee, cakes and cookies.
