Dudh Puli

Ingredients to make Dudh Puli

  • All purpose flour 1 cups
  • Sugar 1/2 cup
  • Grated coconut 1/4 cup
  • Milk 1/2 litre
  • Sugar 1tbsp
  • Salt.
  • Water 1 1/2 cup.
  • Cardamom 1

How to make Dudh Puli

  1. Boil water. Add flour & salt. cook till dry. Let it cool.
  2. After sometime ,knead the cooked flour to a smooth dough.keep aside.
  3. Heat a pan, add coconut, sugar & cook till mixture is dry.
  4. Take small balls from the dough, flatten a little & put the coconut filling inside. Close the edges. Seal it well. You can make it in any shape
  5. Boil the remaining milk with 2 tbsp of sugar & cardamom . Put the maida balls one by one into the milk. Cook for 15minutes. Stir occasionally as it does not stick to the bottom.
  6. Serve, when it is cool.
My Tip: Adjust sugar to taste. It can be made in any shape and size.
