Khasta Kachuri

Ingredients to make Khasta Kachuri

  • 1cup flour
  • 3-4tbsp semolina
  • 1/2 cup soaked moong dal paste
  • 1/2 cup sattu
  • red chilly powder 1 tsp
  • ginger paste 2tbsp
  • coriander Powder
  • asafoetida 1/2 tsp
  • green chilly paste 2 tsp
  • cumin powder 1tsp
  • chopped green chilly 2tsp
  • aam-tel (mango oil) 1tsp
  • chat masala 1 tsp
  • coriander leaves chopped 1/2cup
  • salt to taste
  • sugar 1 tsp
  • baking soda 1 pinch
  • oil

How to make Khasta Kachuri

  1. take oil in a pan add ginger paste.. then add soaked dal paste...fry..then add all spices and salt and sugar...remove from oven
  2. add sattu on the fried dal paste..add chat masala and mango oil.. ur filling is ready..
  3. mix the flour and semolina..add oil and soda..then make a dough.. make the balls from this dough..
  4. take the balls.. and flatten it..pour the filling in it..take all sides in the centre..and make again into a ball with ur palms..and deep fry it..
