ABOUT Apple Rabdi RECIPE

An apple a day keeps the doctor away is true. Apples are extremely rich in important antioxidants, flavonoids and dietary fibre. We should see that apples are involved in our regular diet in a tasty way because apples are good for the brain, decreases risk of heart stroke, helps in digestion, helps in reducing the risk of cancer and much more. Here is a simple but time taking recipe of apple rabdi which is tasty and healthy

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Apples-3
  2. Milk 1 liter
  3. Sugar- 1 cup
  4. Elachi - 3 ( powdered)
  5. Milk maid- 2 tbsp
  6. Vanilla essence- 3 drops
  7. Almonds and pistachios for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil 1 litre milk for 20 minutes in very slow flame. Add sugar, elachi powder,
  2. Keep moving the cream to the side of the pan.
  3. Keep stirring till a thick consistency is reached
  4. In a separate pan, add 1 spoon of ghee and fry grated apples and fry for 5 min.
  5. Now add this grated apple into the rabdi and stir for 2 minutes.
  6. Switch off the stove and transfer into a bowl and chill it for 3 hours.
  7. Just before serving, decorate with sliced apples and garnish with dry fruits
