Ingredients to make Semolina Ras Malai

  • Semolina 1cup
  • Milk 2 cups
  • Sugar 1/2 cup
  • Custard powder 1tsp
  • Kesar
  • Baking powder 1/2 tsp
  • Cardamom

How to make Semolina Ras Malai

  1. Take a cup add 2-3 tsp milk, add sugar, add semolina and baking powder mix well. Keep aside for 6-7 minutes.
  2. In a bowl add 2 tsp warm milk, add kesar keep aside for a few minutes
  3. In the other pan, boil the milk. Mix custard powder in 2-3 tsp of cold milk. Stir it into boiling milk and keep stirring. Add kesar milk, sugar and cardamom to this mixture
  4. Take a idli stand add semolina batter and steam for 2-3 minutes
  5. Take steamed semolina rasmalai in a bowl and pour milk.
  6. Garnish with kesar, chill and serve.
