Ingredients to make Ragi Chocolate Cookies

  • 2 cups ragi flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cup organic brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup mashed bananas
  • 2 tbsp milk

How to make Ragi Chocolate Cookies

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C and grease a baking tray.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together ragi, cocoa powder and salt.
  3. In a another bowl, cream the mashed banana and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the flour mixture and bring together to form a firm dough.
  5. Gradually, add the milk as the dough gets dry.
  6. Cut the cookies into desired shapes and place in the freezer for 10 minutes.
  7. Remove the shaped dough from the freezer and place the cookies on the baking tray.
  8. Bake for 15 minutes or until edges start to darken.
  9. Remove from the oven and transfer onto a cooling rack.
