Calzone Pocket

Ingredients to make Calzone Pocket

  • Basic pizza dough - store bought or home made
  • Boneless chicken - 1 cup
  • mushroom pcs - 1/2 cup
  • Red capsicum - 1
  • 1 - Onion
  • Garlic cloves - 2
  • Processed cheese - 1/2 cup
  • Butter - 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oregano - 1 tsp
  • Mayonnaise - 1/4 cup
  • Black peppercorns crushed - 1 tsp

How to make Calzone Pocket

  1. Wash the chicken steam it and make pieces, small sized.
  2. Wash & cut mushrooms, keep aside. Chop onions. Cut cube size the red capsicum. Chop the garlic clove.
  3. Heat a frying pan, add butter, garlic, onion, mix well and saute nicely. Add red capsicum, chicken pieces. Saute for 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Add the mushroom pieces, add all the seasoning.
  5. Cook covered for a minute.
  6. Switch off the flame, add grated cheese, mayonnaise and black pepper. Keep aside to cool.
  7. Now take the pizza dough, roll & cut in square size. Fill in the mixture & close all the corners. Take a fork and press properly on all sides so that it does not open.
  8. Preheat the oven 180°C, Bake it for 10 to 15 minutes till its color turns light brown after bake grease with oil or butter on top.
