Ingredients to make dahi-veggie-chicken sandwich

  • hung curd 5 tbsp
  • grated carrot 1 tsp
  • grated cabbage 1 tsp
  • grated beetroot 1 tbsp
  • grated cucumber 1 tsp
  • grated capsicum 1 tsp
  • grated baby corn 1 tsp
  • sliced tomatoes 1
  • shredded boiled chicken 1 tbsp
  • pepper powder 1 tsp
  • 4 big sized milk bread
  • Melted butter 1 tsp
  • Salt
  • sugar
  • mayonnaise 1 tbsp
  • lime juice 1 tsp

How to make dahi-veggie-chicken sandwich

  1. take two tbsp of hung curd (I used to keep the homemade curd in a strainer and keep this in refrigerator)
  2. add vegetables (except beetroot) salt, sugar, lime juice and pepper powder
  3. now take another bowl and mix grated beetroot and curd with salt, pepper powder and lime juice in it
  4. in an another bowl mix curd, chicken, mayonnaise, pepper powder and salt
  5. now take one bread slice spread the first mixture
  6. then put another slice on it and put the beetroot mixture
  7. then put another silce over it and keep the sliced tomatoes first then the chicken mixture.
  8. keep another slice over it and brush little melted butter over the top and bottom side of the sandwich.
  9. grill it in a sandwich maker and serve hot with sauce or pudina chatni

My Tip:

You can serve it chilled also without grilling it.
