INSTANT JALEBI

Ingredients to make INSTANT JALEBI

  • 1 cup all purpose flour (maida )
  • 1/3 cup curd ( 1/3 means about 3 to 4 tbsp )
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp orange colour
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup water
  • For sugar syrup:-
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 6 to 8 strands of kesar
  • 1/2 tsp rose water. If u don’t have rose water you can use cardamom

How to make INSTANT JALEBI

  1. FOR SUGAR SYRUP:
  2. Mix all the ingredients and boil it on medium flame about 5 to 6 min unless you can create one wire in between your fingers keep aside
  3. FOR JELABI :
  4. Sieve baking powder and all purpose flour with the help of sieve
  5. Add curd, cardamom powder, orange food colour , baking powder and water
  6. Mix properly but make sure there are no lumps in the batter. The batter should be thick
  7. Take a utensil used for making jalebi or you can take a icing bag with nozzle having small mouth or you can also take a hand made piping bag of polythene
  8. Make sure the mouth of the piping bag must be small
  9. Fill the batter in the piping bag
  10. Take a flat bottom vessel
  11. Fill oil (mostly it is preferable to use desi ghee but it is upto your wish )
  12. Now slowly make round shape in the oil
  13. Fry on a medium flame till it is crispy
  14. Immediately put it into sugar syrup
  15. Take out in 2 min. Garnish with silver work or dry fruits

My Tip:

If putting the batter in oil it flutters your batter is thin. Make it thick by adding all purpose flour
