Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Bread slices 5
  2. Beaten thick curd 1 cup
  3. Cottage Cheese Grated 1/2 cup
  4. Capsicum Finely Chopped 2tbsp
  5. Curry Leaves 10-12
  6. Mustard Seeds 1tsp
  7. Mustard oil 1tsp
  8. Oil for cooking
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Black Pepper 1/4 tsp
  11. Garam Masala 1/2tsp
  12. Red Chilli Powder 1tsp
  13. Chat Masala 1/2tsp
  14. Minced Garlic Cloves 2
  15. Coriander Leaves chopped 1/2tsp

Instructions

  1. Temper whisked thick curd with mustard oil, mustard seeds, curry leaves, salt and red chili powder. Add this tadka to the curd. Do not heat the curd. Just temper it and mix well.
  2. Cut bread slices in roundels using a Katori and keep aside.
  3. Mix crumble paneer, add finely chopped capsicum, coriander leaves, minced garlic, salt, red chili powder, garam masala and spread on the bread slice. Make sure to spread a thin layer.
  4. Heat non-stick pan, apply some oil and put the paneer side down.
  5. Apply curd on top. Do not overload it with curd but put a generous amount so that the bread is coated well. Cover the slices with a large bowl. The idea is to make the spread size crisp and curd side steamed.
  6. Cook till paneer side is golden brown.
  7. Serve hot with chutney of your choice.
