Prawn Dopiyazaa

Ingredients to make Prawn Dopiyazaa

  • Medium sized prawns 12
  • Capsicum 1 cut in long slices
  • Onion 2 cut in slices, fried
  • Curd 1/2 cup
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • Chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  • Salt as per taste
  • Garam masala 1/4 tsp
  • Chopped coriander leaves 1/2 tsp
  • Chopped spring onion 1/3 cup
  • To make paste:
  • Onion 1
  • Garlic pods 2
  • Ginger 1/2 inches

How to make Prawn Dopiyazaa

  1. Wash and dry prawns
  2. Now marinate with yogurt, onions, garlic and ginger paste
  3. Add turmeric, coriander, cumin, chilli and black pepper powder
  4. Add salt and garam masala powder
  5. Marinate for 20_30 mins
  6. Now heat oil
  7. Fry onion slices
  8. Reserve some for garnishing
  9. Now add marinated prawns
  10. Now saute and mix for 15 mins
  11. Add capsicum and spring onions
  12. Add 1/3 cup water
  13. Cook for 5_7 mins
  14. Switch off gas
  15. Garnish with fried onion slices and spring onion
  16. Serve hot with steamed rice
