Rose Lemonade

Ingredients to make Rose Lemonade

  • Rose extract 1 tsp
  • Lemon 2 nos
  • Sugar 1\2 cup (adjust)
  • 750 ml water
  • Crushed ice
  • Tukmaria or Basil seeds 1 tsp
  • Pink food colour 2 drops

How to make Rose Lemonade

  1. Make rose syrup by boiling 1 cup water and half cup sugar.
  2. Once the water sugar mixture comes to boil, let it be in simmer for 2 more minutes. Switch off.
  3. Once the simple syrup cools, add rose extract and pink gel colour to the syrup and stir well.
  4. Soak basil seeds in water and drain out excess water after they have bloomed.
  5. Add the water in a jug. Squeeze juice of lemons.
  6. Now add rose syrup and bloomed basil seeds to the lemon water and stir well.
  7. To the serving glass, add in crushed ice, prepared drink and serve immediately.
My Tip: Let the rose syrup cool completely before adding to lemon water.
