Paneer Butter Masala

Ingredients to make Paneer Butter Masala

  • 300 g malai paneer
  • Ginger garlic onion paste
  • Tomato puree
  • Garam masala paste
  • Dhania powder
  • Fresh cream
  • Almond paste
  • Dhania leaves to decorate
  • Kasuri methi optional

How to make Paneer Butter Masala

  1. Lightly fry paneer cubes in butter.
  2. Drain and keep aside
  3. Take oil/butter in a kadhai and fry onion paste till brown.
  4. Add in tomato puree and continue to fry in the low heat
  5. Add ginger garlic paste followed by garam masala n dhania and almond paste
  6. Add Kashmiri red chilli powder in a tsp of hot oil to the gravy for colour
  7. Adjust sugar & salt
  8. Pour in water accordingly
  9. Let it simmer till oil floats on the surface
  10. Add paneer cubes and blend in fresh cream
