Baked Vada Pav

Ingredients to make Baked Vada Pav

  • 1and 1/2 Cup wheat flour
  • 1 and 1/2 cup All purpose floor
  • 2 and 1/2 tsp dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 5-6 cloves garlic
  • Ginger mustard seeds
  • Asofetida
  • green chillies
  • oil 3 tbsp
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • Boiled and mashed potato 4-5
  • turmeric
  • curry leaves

How to make Baked Vada Pav

  1. Warm 1/2 cup of water and add yeast and sugar to it. Leave the mix for 10 minutes
  2. Kneed the dough with Whole wheat flour, All purpose floor, Milk , Yeast mix,salt.Kneed the dough for atleast 10 min. Leave the dough for 1 hour to get ferment
  3. Grind Ginger, Garlic Cloves and green chilies. In a Pan put 3 tsp oil. Once hot add asofetida , Mustard seeds and curry leaves. Now add ginger garlic paste. Rost it for some time. Then add boiled and mashed potato.
  4. Add Salt,Chilli and Turmeric.Fry for few minutes. After one hour make six equal parts of dough..fill potato mix in it and roll it again. Bake it in preheated oven for 20 min.
