Keerai Sambar

Ingredients to make Keerai Sambar

  • Toor dal 1 cup
  • spinach 3 cup
  • Green chilli 1
  • Red chilli 1
  • cumin seeds 1/2 spoon
  • oil
  • curry leaf
  • coriander
  • salt
  • Small onion 10 to 15
  • tomato 1
  • turmeric powder 1/4 spoon
  • garlic 2( optional)
  • hing a pinch

How to make Keerai Sambar

  1. In a pressure cooker add Toor Dal, green chilli, garlic clove, onion, tomato, Hing, turmeric powder
  2. Allow 3 whistle to come
  3. Then again add spinach in a pressure cooker allow 2 whistle
  4. In a pan add çumin seeds, dry chilli, curry leaf and coriander
  5. Pour cooked spinach in that pan add salt, some water allow it to boil for 5 min
  6. Serve with rice
