Healthy Chana Dal Kabab

Ingredients to make Healthy Chana Dal Kabab

  • Split Bengal gram (Chana dal) 50gm.
  • Chopped green chili 3
  • Ginger grated 1 tsp
  • Spring onion white part chopped 1 tsp
  • A generous pinch cooking soda
  • Carom seeds 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • 1tsp oil
  • Little oil for greasing mould

How to make Healthy Chana Dal Kabab

  1. Soak split Bengal gram (chana dal) for 1/2 an hour.
  2. Now grind it into a coarse paste.
  3. Don't use water.
  4. IN a large bowl add chana dal paste and all ingredients in it and mix well.
  5. Shape the mixture into equal sized balls and flatten them slightly to make Tikkis.
  6. Grease the idli moulds.
  7. Put the tikis in the mould.
  8. Steam for 30 minutes.
  9. Serve hot with chutney.
My Tip: You.can stuffed it with cheese filling with spices.
