Ingredients to make Whole Wheat Chocolate Pancakes

  • 1 cup - Wheat flour
  • 2tbsp - Melted butter or olive oil or ghee
  • 1/2 cup - Powdered sugar (brown or white)
  • 1tsp - Baking powder
  • 1cup - Milk or little more
  • 2 tbsp - Cocoa powder
  • 1tsp - Lemon juice or vinegar
  • Hershey chocolate syrup for garnish
  • Fresh strawberries cut in desired shape
  • Vanilla ice-cream

How to make Whole Wheat Chocolate Pancakes

  1. Sieve flour, add cocoa powder, baking powder, milk and make a thick batter.
  2. Add lemon juice or vinegar and whisk till there are no lumps.
  3. Once the batter is smooth, heat a nonstick tawa or pan. Pour a spoonful of batter and let it spread on its own. Add a little butter on the sides.
  4. Once one side is nice and brown flip on other side and cook.
  5. Remove it in a plate, tp with strawberries, drizzle with chocolate sauce and serve with your favorite ice cream.
