Mango Roll

Ingredients to make Mango Roll

  • Mango pulp of 2 mangoes
  • 150 gms Sugar
  • Powdered Cashew (Kaju Kani)
  • Melon seeds (Optional)
  • Edible decorations (Optional)

How to make Mango Roll

  1. Take Mango pulp of 2 Mangoes with 100-150 gms sugar.
  2. Mix to get a fine paste in a mixie.
  3. Then on a low flame in an open pan cook for about 15 to 20 minutes stirring continuously and then spread it with a flat spoon on a thali/thali’s to make a thin layer.
  4. Allow to cool naturally from 8 to 24 hours depending on the room environment. Slice strips like we do for a Patra.
  5. Roll and decorate with kaju kani ( Powdred Cashew) or melon seeds or any edible decorations.
My Tip: In dry atmosphere then the mango pulp mixture will settle in about 8-10 hours. If humid then it will take 16-24 hours. Prepare accordingly.
