Ingredients to make Chinese Tikki

  • Boiled potatoes - 2
  • Chopped ginger - 1 tsp
  • Chopped garlic - 1/2 tsp
  • Chopped green chillies - 1 tbsp
  • Chopped capsicum - 2 tsp
  • Chopped spring onions - 1 tbsp
  • chopped coriander leaves - 2 tbsp
  • Soy sauce - 1 tsp
  • Bread slices - 1
  • Cornflour - 1 tbsp
  • Sesame seeds - 1/4 th tsp
  • Refined oil
  • Salt

How to make Chinese Tikki

  1. Mash the boiled potatoes and crumble the bread slice into.
  2. Mix them together nicely so that the bread is completely mixed into the potato mash.
  3. Now add rest of the ingredients and mix in to form a dough.
  4. Make small TIKKIS out of it and let them rest in the fridge for 5 minutes.
  5. Now heat a tawa with little oil and shallow fry the TIKKIS on both sides and serve.
