Green Chicken Korma

Ingredients to make Green Chicken Korma

  • 1/2 kg - Washed and cleaned chicken pieces (with bones)
  • 2 - Capsicum
  • 7 tbsp - Cashews
  • 4 - Green chilies
  • Handful of Coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp - Ginger garlic paste
  • 2 - Tez patta / bay leaf
  • 1/2 - Dalchini stick
  • 3-4 - Cloves
  • 4 - Elaichi
  • 1 tsp - Whole zeera
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp - Garam masala
  • Oil as required
  • Salt to taste

How to make Green Chicken Korma

  1. Clean the chicken pieces and keep them ready.
  2. In a mixer grind together coriander leaves chilies, capsicum into paste. Grind cashew with 4 tbsp water.
  3. Heat oil in a wok add in Tez patta and all whole masala and saute then add the green paste and mix. Add cashew paste followed by 1/2 cup of water.
  4. Add ginger garlic paste, all the spices and salt, mix for a minute then add the chicken pieces and mix. Let it cook, keeping eye on it.
  5. Once chicken is cooked and oil starts to separate, it's done and ready to serve.
My Tip: Serve with zeera rice. You can always adjust your spice levels.
