Sago upma

Ingredients to make Sago upma

  • 1 cup soaked sabudana
  • 1 potato
  • 1/4 cabagge
  • 1/2 capsicum
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 tomato
  • 2 green chilies
  • Coriander leaves
  • 2 table spoon Peanuts
  • 8-10 Curry Leaves
  • salt as per taste
  • 1/2 tea spoon mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tea spoon Red pepper powder
  • 1/2 tea spoon sugar
  • 1 tea spoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 tea spoon garam masala
  • 3 tablespoon oil

How to make Sago upma

  1. 1. Soak sabudana for 2-3 hours.
  2. 2. Chop all the veggies you want to add into small pieces .
  3. 3. Shallow fry peanuts and potatoes and take them out in a bowl.
  4. 4. Take a nonstick pan add oil and mustard seeds and curry leaves.
  5. 5. Add onions, Capsicum and cabbage stir fry .
  6. 6. Add soaked sabudana .
  7. 7. Add fried potatoes and peanuts .
  8. 8. Add all the dry spices .
  9. 9. Cover with lid for 5 mins on low flame.
  10. 10. Turn off the gas flame.
  11. 11. dd sugar and lemon juice.
  12. 12. Garnish with coriander leaves serve hot.
My Tip: 1.We can add 2 tablespoon tomato sauce to enhence taste . After preperation let it rest covered for alteast 4-5 mins .
