Ingredients to make Yellow Chicken With Fresh Turmeric Juice

  • Chicken fillets - 2 packets (400 grsms)
  • Garlic crushed - 1 tsp
  • Ginger grated - 1 tsp
  • Curd - 3 tsp
  • Raw turmeric juice - 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • For the curry : Onions - 3, chopped
  • Shredded Coconut - 2 tbsp
  • Ginger grated - 1 tsp
  • Garlic crushed - 1 tsp
  • Dhania powder - 2 tsp
  • Garam masala - 1 tsp
  • Green chilli crushed - 1 tsp
  • Raw turmeric juice - 1 tsp
  • Kasoori methi - 2 tsp ( roasted)
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Fresh cream - 1 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves, finely chopped - 1 tsp

How to make Yellow Chicken With Fresh Turmeric Juice

  1. Marinate chicken for 2 hours with Ginger Garlic, curd salt and raw turmeric juice ( 1 tsp).
  2. Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan. Add khada masala. Add marinated chicken. Pressure cook chicken well.
  3. Saute onions brown. Add shredded coconut, ginger, garlic, dhania powder, garam masala, green chilli paste. Saute a little and cool. Now blend in mixer.
  4. Heat oil in a pan. Add blended masala and raw turmeric juice. ( 1 tsp)
  5. Now add chicken. Mic and boil for 5 minutes. Add Kasoori methi by rubbing between palms.
  6. Boil for 2 minutes more. Add fresh cream and serve with garnish of coriander leaves.

My Tip:

Grate raw turmeric, add little water and squeeze out the juice.
