ABOUT Gojiya RECIPE

This is one of my favourite childhood recipes that my mom used to make for us. I also have mastered the art of making these at home.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Rice flour 2cup
  2. Salt to taste
  3. Water as needed
  4. For stuffing :
  5. Soaked chana dal 1 cup
  6. Coriander leaves 1 small bunch
  7. Dil leave 1/2 bunch
  8. Green chillies 7
  9. Garlic 6
  10. Salt

Instructions

  1. Add rice flour, salt in a bowl and make soft dough.
  2. Add all ingredients for stuffing in grinder and grind it to coarse paste(don't add water) .
  3. Now roll small puris and stuff this mixture in it and fold from sides or make like flower.
  4. In a steamer heat water and put a strainer over it and steam gujiya till done.
  5. Take out all gojiya and serve hot.
