Nankhatai

Ingredients to make Nankhatai

  • Refined flour - 250 gms
  • Dalda or ghee - 200 gms
  • Icing sugar - 100 gms
  • cinnamon powder - 1 tsp
  • cashews for garnishing

How to make Nankhatai

  1. Whisk the dalda till it becomes fluffy, add in the icing sugar and whisk again to form a creamy mixture.
  2. Next add in the refined flour and mix slowly with a spatula. Add in the cinnamon powder, then mix again and make round shapes.
  3. Preheat the oven 180°C, arrange them on a tray and bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
  4. Garnish with cashews and serve warm for best taste.
