Ingredients to make Asian Dal Pasta
- Dried whole wheat spaghetti pasta - 150gms( any type of pasta can be used)
- Salt a pinch
- water 2-3 cups
- Grated Cheese – ¼th cup.
- For Dal- Masoor Dal – ½ cup
- Oil – 1 – 2 tbsp
- Cumin seeds – 1/2tsp
- Mustard seeds – 1/2tsp
- Tomato – 1 no finely chopped
- Coriander - 2tbsp finely chopped
- Green chilli finely chopped - 1/2tsp
- Minced garlic – 1tbsp
- Garam masala - ½ tsp
- Turmeric powder – a pinch.
- Tamarind paste – 1/4th tsp (optional)
- salt as per taste
- Water as required for cooking
- Garnish – Grated cheese Tomato sauce
