Lemon Dhal

Ingredients to make Lemon Dhal

  • Yellow moong dal – 100 gram
  • Turmeric powder – ½ tspn
  • Green chilli – 1 no slit length wise
  • For tempering
  • Ghee – 1 tbspn
  • Green chilli – 1 no chopped
  • Cumin seeds -1/2 tspn
  • Lemon juice – 1 tsbpn
  • Mustard seeds – ½ tspn

How to make Lemon Dhal

  1. Wash and soak Moong dal 20 minutes In a pressure cooker add dal 200 ml water, turmeric powder, green chilli and close the lid and leave 3 whistle
  2. After pressure releases, mash little. Temper with above said ingredients and pour it in a cooked dal add lemon juice stir it well
  3. This lemon dal goes well with with Puri,atta parota, chappathi or Plain rice
