It is a very simple and easy side dish. comfort Side dish for Chappathi, Atta Parota, and Puri

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Yellow moong dal – 100 gram
  2. Turmeric powder – ½ tspn
  3. Green chilli – 1 no slit length wise
  4. For tempering
  5. Ghee – 1 tbspn
  6. Green chilli – 1 no chopped
  7. Cumin seeds -1/2 tspn
  8. Lemon juice – 1 tsbpn
  9. Mustard seeds – ½ tspn

Instructions

  1. Wash and soak Moong dal 20 minutes In a pressure cooker add dal 200 ml water, turmeric powder, green chilli and close the lid and leave 3 whistle
  2. After pressure releases, mash little. Temper with above said ingredients and pour it in a cooked dal add lemon juice stir it well
  3. This lemon dal goes well with with Puri,atta parota, chappathi or Plain rice
