Ingredients to make Karabish Haleb

  • Maida 1 cup
  • Semolina 1 cup
  • Yogurt 1/2cup
  • Baking powder 1 1/2tsp
  • Water 1/2cup
  • Sugar syrup
  • Pistachio powder
  • Oil for frying

How to make Karabish Haleb

  1. Mix maida, semolina, yogurt, baking powder, water and keep for 2hours..
  2. The batter shouldn't be water nor thick..
  3. Mean time prepare the sugar syrup and keep aside..
  4. After 2hours, fill the batter in piping bag and pipe out the batter as round shape in oil and fry till it turns yellow colour...
  5. Then cool little and dip them in sugar syrup and take out... No need to soak.
  6. Serve hot with pistachio sprinkles over to the beauties....
My Tip: Flame should be in medium,while frying to avoid the colour change....
